This question is for those of you who have or are having problems with Wi-Fi devices. Do you have IPv6 enabled on your LAN? It doesn't matter if your ISP supports IPv6, I just want you to know about your local network. If you're not sure, check the settings on your router or network settings on your Mac desktops. On Mac, the "IPv6 Setup" drop-down menu will be set to "Automatic" or "Local Link Only" and you'll have an IPv6 address list in the IPv6 address list below it. I'm just wondering if IPv6 enabled makes for more reliable devices connected via Wi-Fi. You can also install the Discovery app available in the App Store to see if your HomeKit devices are receiving IPv6 addresses.
