Question of plausibility

Cupertino, May 17, 2020

So I have the garage door opener for the HomeKit badges (which works well if the sensor battery is not low), especially because at the time we moved about a year ago, my garage door was not compatible with myQ. I wanted to receive delivery in the garage by amazon, but it simply wasn't possible. Since my garage door opener is not supported by myQ, I was just thinking about possible solutions.

Say I connected a myQ device as well as my badge device. Then you say I create an automation that is triggered by myQ (with home bridge) which in turn triggers the flagship device. Is it really a plausible scenario? Or am I just thinking about something that will never work?

Thanks for any ideas.
