Question with multi-zone thermostat

Cupertino, October 17, 2021

Hello, a long time in secret, poster for the first time and I have a quick question. I'm not extremely good at HVAC (so sorry if it's a stupid question), but I just bought a new house (I'm moving next weekend) that has 2 thermostats - 1 to control the floor temperature and 1 to control main floor temp. I would love to buy a HomeKit compatible thermostat and I was wondering if anyone has any experience or suggestions for multi-area homes. From what I need to understand, there is a deflection in my ducts that directs the air from one level to another, however I am not able to control the temperature of my area simultaneously. My house was built in 2013, so I think it's a safe assumption that I'll have wire c, so I should have no problem with what thermostat I can use. I really hope I can only buy 2 of the same HomeKit compatible thermostats and run them independently of each other. I know I might have heating schedule conflicts, but aside from that, can this sound be made? Does anyone have any advice or suggestions or reading material that I could research? Thank you in advance.
