Questions about using the iPad for the hub

Cupertino, June 6, 2020

I have a new iPad an order with the sole purpose of being the hub. However, it is orderly. In the meantime, I wanted to play with personal automation. It's home like 95% of the time (thank you very much, quarantine), but eventually I'll want to transfer it to my new iPad. Couple questions:

 & # x20AC; & # x2122;

1) Can I transfer automations from the old iPad to the new iPad or do I have to create them all?

2) What happens if the ipad leaves the home network? I assume that the vending machines stop burning and will continue to work again when it returns to the home network.
