I have two minis, one of the original pods at home and a simple lighting installed in two rooms. I also have an iPhone, MacBook Pro and iPad. I also subscribe to Apple Music. HomeKit doesn't seem to be able to handle this consistently, so my experiment with using it for home automation doesn't work well at all. A total of six times now, I had to uninstall and reinstall all the plugs. Today, my iPad (which I rarely use because I used it while traveling and my company banned all travel due to Covid) decided I needed to update my Apple ID password. It would not accept my current password, so I had to change it on my laptop and iPhone. After work, I went to ask Siri to play something and got a "Check the app from home" message. The application showed that HomePod does not respond. He asked me for my Apple ID password, which I put in, but still nothing. The three HomePods are currently being deleted and reinstalled. There is only one. Clearly, I'm a loyal Apple user, but I'm almost ready! How much of all this hassle can be attributed to the damn Internet? Am I doing something wrong in the set?
