I'm looking to dive into Homebridge and research options for a server. I found a local guy selling a Raspberry Pi 4 4GB with a cooler, a cool oled screen built into the case that shows connectivity and IP address and operating system preconfigured for Homebridge, but also preconfigured for SSH and Remote Desktop. The last part makes me hesitate, because I could see someone building a back door and selling it to newbs. So I wonder if it's really something to worry about and if I could easily delete the card and start from scratch, keeping the small network information screen. Or would I probably delete the screen function with it? He wants 110.- for that, which seems quite reasonable.
