Read vs Pi / Homebridge

Cupertino, January 21, 2022

Currently, you have a lot of shades, an eve door sensor, some eco-friendly sensors and I hope you add more window / door sensors, water sensors, motion sensors and maybe you are interested in a weather station? I have seen many people say that Aqara is the way to go because they are cheap and reliable. Is it worth going on this route? Will it be mostly their hub for the future, despite the thread? What do you think about getting a homebridge Pi? Would this make things much easier in the long run, even if all my smart items are currently HK native compatible? Thanks for your thoughts!
