It's the launch day of the kit! And the offer of Reading FC 2021-22 t-shirts is not as simple as checking: “Is it a blue and white circle? Well then."

This season is the club's 150th anniversary and some special features adorn the design.

First things first: there are blue and white circles. Macron is behind the design again, and Select Car Leasing has entered as the main sponsor of the shirt after Casumo's main business has expired, and the new logo fits nicely with thinner circles than usual.

There were some murmurs against the front hoops and sleeves that didn't line up, but otherwise the look of the shirt is pretty clear. The gold trim lines the neck and sleeves with a gold badge that marks the anniversary. It's hard to say in the first photos, but the names of the great Royals are also printed in circles - Dolan, Doyle, Cureton et al. Which is pretty sweet.

The home goalkeeper's shirt is a green business modeled on the shirt worn by Steve Death during his imperious run in the 1970s. Details about the away shirt will appear soon.
