I'm looking for some kind of indoor camera or light sensor. The idea is that I want HomeKit to tell me if my electric range / oven is on or not. The series itself has a red light that turns on if any of the heaters are on, so I'd like one of the following:
1. A small camera pointed directly at the light (and ideally, the camera frame would have little more than the light in view), so I could visually confirm in Home.app whether the oven is on or not
2. A small light sensor that goes near or above the oven light that could be read in Home.app as an on / off switch (this is of course read-only)
Any ideas on how to accomplish this?
