Regions HomePod

Cupertino, October 14, 2020

I just wonder if there is anyone out there who has a HomePod and lives in a region where it is not currently available. But it also uses an Apple ID in the "HomePod unavailable" region.

I know about people who got HomePods from the UK / US, etc., but still have AppleID / iCloud accounts from the UK / US with which they created them.

I live in Sweden, although I am British, so I am happy to use English devices. However, I know that Apple TV does not let me have English Siri, because my AppleID is Swedish. It's just disabled. 😞

So I wonder if I have a new Home Pod mini, would I have a problem with disabling Siri? That would be a bit bad, because that's the main reason I want it (I already have Sonos for the sound).

Thanks in advance for any help. 🙂
