We have automation for our doors and alarm system for the time of last departure and first arrival. They have always worked consistently.
Now, with the latest iOS, they are completely unpredictable. Sometimes it works, other times it will ask for your phone, but you don't look, other times nothing. The non-prompt locating machines we use for our lights and thermostats work every time. So location is not an issue. It seems to be an error in the operating system, but hoping that others will be able to confirm that they have problems.
