I was thinking of adding a smart connector to automatically restart the router (once every few weeks or so), I thought very smart. But then I realized that once the router is turned off, how will it receive the signal plug to turn on again? I don't think the Homekit base can get to it directly. Is there a way to automate this with Homekit?
