I wonder if I'm alone with this problem or if others have the same experiences. I have a handful of iDevice switches (the ones that connect to an outlet) both inside and outside. They will restart occasionally for some reason. I will see the flashing LED (green I think?) When this happens. It's annoying at night because the device that is connected to it (in my case, a lamp) goes out for a second, then turns on again. I emailed iDevice support some time ago and they thought it was related to multicast packets being sent repeatedly because the return packets don't reach their destination. Whether this is caused by the phone connecting to a different AP, or the router (s) not routing packets from 2.4 to 5 GHz, the end result is the same. The switch is hit with more data packets than the memory can support, and restarts. At that time we were running 3x Airport Extremes. I moved to a Unifi UDMP and Aruba 225 AP, but the problem persists. I like switches, I'm just curious if others have similar problems and if so, how they were solved. Thanks.
