Reusing old SimpliSafe equipment in Apple Home?

Cupertino, April 22, 2024

I have an old SimpliSafe security system in a closet in the basement. I don't use it anymore and I don't have an active subscription.

I would love to be able to give these old SimpliSafe doors and motion sensors a new lease of life as part of my smart home. Is there any way to do this, especially without a SimpliSafe subscription?

Some quick googling says there is no native HomeKit support, but is there a third party way to make these sensors work with my Apple Home setup?
