In this week's top stories: It's been a great week here at 9to5Mac, as we have exclusively reported numerous details on what to expect from iOS 14, watchOS 7, new Apple Watch models and more. Read on as we play everything I reported this week.

watchOS 7 |

We started with the news that Apple is developing the ability for Apple Watch to detect oxygen levels in the blood for the first time. It is based on the code from iOS 14 that was seen by 9to5Mac.

We also expect the Apple Watch Series 6 to include a new Infograph Pro watch, SchoolTime features, sleep tracking and more.

Then we opened the floodgates for iOS 14, reporting numerous new features that are under development for this year's updates.

Maybe in particular, Apple is developing sophisticated mouse cursor support for iOS 14 and iPadOS 14. This includes things like support for multiple pointers, gestures, and more. Apple is also developing a new augmented reality app for iOS, which is testing with Apple Stores and Starbucks.

HomeKit will also gain new features in iOS 14, based on the leaked code seen by 9to5Mac. Apple is developing new face recognition features for HomeKit cameras, Apple TV audio enhancements and Night Light Shift. Meanwhile, the iOS Home screen may change this year, with Apple developing a new list view option.

tvOS 14 |

For Apple TV, the code indicates that Apple is developing a new workout app with the code name "Seymour". This app would allow users to download workouts and be trained directly from Apple TV. It would also be linked to the Apple Watch for fitness tracking and Apple Music for audio.

Hardware |

Last but not least, the iOS 14 code confirms many of the new features we expect for the updated iPhone 9 and iPad Pro models. There is also evidence that Apple is developing a new remote control for Apple TV, but it is unclear whether this will be a dramatic redesign or an iterative upgrade based on the Siri remote control.

iOS 14 also reveals our first look at Apple's upcoming over-ear headphones with AirPods features.
