Router question

Cupertino, December 21, 2021

So I'm thinking of getting rid of my "old" TP-Link Archer C9 router and getting the 3 Deco X68 package. The reason is that I hope it will have an effect on my Hue Callas outdoors - which almost always at least 1 in 3 shows that it does not respond to HomeKit. I also have an amaranth and 3 Lily XL, which are always solid. But my question is; Are Mesh Routers Better Than C9 in Handling HomeKit Devices or Wouldn't It Make a Difference? I don't know much about the technical side of this. I hope someone smarter than me can help me here. Thanks!
