Router Tips ...

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

Hello everyone, I could use some tips. I just bought a single WiFi node 6 Linksys Velop AX4200 and so far so good. It seems to work well, my iPad gave up early, but it's been good since then. After some further research, I wonder if I could get more out of the tri-band 3 node mesh set. I have a house of about 2000 sqm with a number of HomeKit devices, both indoors and outdoors. Hue bridge, Arlo rooms, about 15 sockets / switches, etc. Without games, streaming mostly works, and our internet speed is only 150 down. (But it fits our needs so far) Am I better to get more coverage with the 3 nodes of Triband WiFi 5? Or stay with WiFi 6 now and expand later, if necessary? I wonder if the triband helps with the HomeKit of things and / or if I will benefit from the HomeKit capabilities of the HomeKit router, because I heard that there are no plans to add HomeKit to WiFi 6 models. I hope I make sense ... Thanks in advance!
