Hi everyone, the thread I wanted to reply to is archived. I was looking for a way to turn off Apple TV (aka sleep) and turn on “art mode” on the Samsung Frame, compared to turning it off. Others had the same question and even with Homebridge it would never work. & # x200B; UPDATE! First, I received the new Apple TV remote control with the power button in the hope that it will succeed. No dice – turn off the TV. However … I found that the Homebridge plug-in was updated. There are now several “switches” – one for “Off / On” and one for “Art mode Off / On”. I did a HomeKit automation that is simply – When Samsung Frame stops – Activate the ArtMode switch. It works! Now, whenever Apple TV sleeps or turns off the TV turns off as it did before. There is a delay of 10-30 seconds and then there is a boom – art. Happy hiker. * side note (s) – I displayed the switches as separate tiles. I’m not sure it was necessary. I also did the above automation only at certain times and added “stop” to my “good night” scene so that the TV would really stop for the night. We also added “turn on art mode when the first person comes home” and “turn off art mode when the last person leaves” etc etc automations to save energy. & # x200B; I hope this helps someone.
