Report of the Saudi Gazette

DUBAI - SANS Security Awareness, a division of the SANS Institute, created the "Securely Working from Home" implementation kit, as the world faces increasing threats from coronavirus.

This free kit provides security awareness specialists with a step-by-step guide on how to quickly implement a training program for their remote staff. All the training materials and resources needed to ensure the remote, multilingual workforce are included in the kit.

Spitzner explains SANS Director Lance Sponsner: "Training materials are a combination of both our public resources and paid training materials. This kit includes videos, infographics, podcasts, newsletters and multilingual digital signage, all included in a single package that we offer as a free resource to anyone who needs it. We understand that this is a unique situation and we want to do everything we can to help the community secure its workforce in these uncertain times. "

To help security awareness professionals digest this wealth of information, a live webcast will be held on Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30 pm. EDT. Participants will be given an overview of the various resources available and a perspective on how to make the most of it. Following the presentation, a webcast recording will be available.
