Scheduled automation with no fixed time of day? Like an hour later?

Cupertino, October 13, 2019

Is there a way to make an automation that can be scheduled to run at a (varying) later date? No matter what time it is, I'd like to say something to Siri like "In an hour turn off the fan". I'm not talking about running the automation at a specific time on any given day, but I want the flexibility of saying, turning it off in an hour or two hours, and so on.

Any combination of apps that would let me do this? Another automation app? Shortcuts?

The reason for wishing this is that when I stop putting wood in my fireplace, the house is still very hot and the warm air goes to the top floor where I have a huge fan to blow the air down again. Whatever time it is, when I stop putting wood on the fire, I would like the fan turned off about an hour or two later.

Thanks for all the ideas.
