Sensibo Air Q + HomeKit, still playing well?

Cupertino, October 3, 2023

I looked around for submarine reviews and online, most of them are quite old so I thought I'd get a new idea as they released some new features for thermostats and such for iOS17 Sensibo Air Q is kind of expensive, but it is that. which is available locally and is natively available in HK. My main use is just to test the AC and set it to a certain temperature, rarely changing anything. **"My smart AC"** present using ambiclimates and paid for 4 units of minis honestly they performed very poorly and the AI never seems to work and just blasts at the lowest temperature possible with a bigger fan speed forever. Geofencing seems to trigger entry/exit within seconds, which defeats the purpose of setting it to turn on when I get home. And damn their cloud service is constantly down and more importantly it's impossible to configure via homebridge and calling the API causes it to crash constantly TLDR, no HK integration, crap reliability **Have some questions for existing users or anyone with Sensibo Insights:** 1. Can commands be sent or controlled in LAN if my ISP is not? Or rely entirely on its cloud network. 2. I've read some issues about orders dropping and not getting to AC but still registering as complete (eg start sending order, AC stays OFF but app says ON), is this a problem? 3. Geofence seems questionable on their part, if we integrate into HomeKit could we just use HomeKit geofence to sort out all these minor glitches? Thanks in advance guys
