I'm looking to replace the door sensors and smart buttons in my house. I use Vocolinc door sensors and the Eve smart button, but I'm not happy with the performance of any of them .... Door sensors: Vocolinc door sensors normally take about 3-5 seconds to respond. This is annoying because I have the door sensor connected to the lights in the input mode, so after opening the door the lights do not turn on for a few seconds (if at all). I also have a smart lock that triggers to lock after the door is closed and I have had a few times when the lock did not lock or get confused as the door was open, closed and then open again and no I don't think all states have been transferred. Smart button: I use the "Eve smart button" and I'm just not happy with it. The problem seems to be that if the button is not used for a few hours, then the first press will be to "wake up" the button, then you have to press it a second time to trigger your scene. It is not uncommon to "double-click" two or three times before the scene in the house changes. It was very frustrating for my kids to use them in their rooms to turn on light / sound cars when they sleep and wake up. ** Solutions: Aqara or Eve Door Switch / Flic sensors ** ** Aqara: ** I wonder if anyone has feedback on the "speed" of the sensors when triggered through the Aqara hub. It seems that being based on Zigbee would mean a faster response time, and Aqara has a lot of accessories (which is very nice), but I'm worried about the quality and speed. I also want to add some switches and motion sensors and this might be a cheap option, but I don't want to sacrifice too much quality ... ** Eve Door Sensors / ** Flic Buttons: ** I've heard great things about motion sensors Eve door and they like this option because they are yarn-based, but $ 50 per pop seems expensive. But, maybe that's what I need to get the speed I'm looking for? I've heard good things The same with the Flic smart buttons. Again, this option is somewhat expensive, as the hub and 3 switches would be close to $ 160. Thoughts, opinions and feedback on the two proposed solutions?
