Setting up a location-based notification telling me I left the door open (Eve sensor)

Cupertino, March 24, 2021

That really drives me crazy. For contextualization, apart from some bulbs, I really have no experience with HomeKit or shortcuts at all, however I do own many Apple devices, including a HomePod mini as my home hub. I recently bought a sensor for the Eve window and door (second generation, without Thread support) and I want to configure it in a way that, when I leave the apartment and leave the balcony door open, it sends me a notification. I searched for solutions on the internet, but for my life I can't work. I just want a notification, no HomeKit light comes on or alarms me or something. I'm open to using and paying for Pushcut (I have a trial right now), but I can get the app to send me a location-based notification once I'm a hundred meters away from my apartment and receive the notification regardless of whether the door is open or closed. HomeKit experts, can you help me, please? This thing is possible? If not, what is the sensor good for? I certainly can't be the only one who bought it for this very reason. I also have a NUKI lock that comes in the mail for me and before I try to configure it without success, it is even possible that the lock will tell me by a notification (or by a push) that I forgot to lock the door when I leave? an established geolocation?
