Setting up HomeKit on a family account with Apple TV No iOS device.

I have the latest generation Apple TV that I want to use as a HomeKit hub with my AppleID family. The only problem is that I don't have an iPhone or iPad with that AppleID as my wife and I have our own IDs and a common one that is on our computer. All our subscriptions are on the common ID, so I want to leave AppleTV configured on that ID. Looks like I can't find a way to set up HomeKit without a dedicated ios / iPad device. I only need the initial setup done once, so I can connect to my phone and my wife and leave it set up on my Apple TV. Do you have a thought? Thanks!
