Simple automation help

Cupertino, October 9, 2023

I have Lutron Caseta switches and Aqura door sensor hubs for both. I can verify that both are responsive and appear correctly in HomeKit. Both can be controlled manually via HomeKit. The problem is that I have an automation to turn on the pantry light when the door is open. And a second automation to do the reverse with the door closed. I'm having a strange problem that if I add a condition for the light to turn off after X minutes to the door open automation, I can get the door close automation to work, but no automation will run again until I X minutes pass. I wanted the light to come on when the door opens, but if the door stays open, turn off after X minutes. Has anyone seen this problem before? What did you do to make this work? YiA
