Since HomePod was upgraded to audioOS 15, high switch shortcut delay

Cupertino, October 23, 2021

Hi, I don't know if I'm the only one, but that drives me crazy. Ever since I upgraded my HomePods to audioOS 15, using switches ([https://homekit.blog/2019/12/24/create-an-on-off-toggle-switch-with-home-and-shortcuts/](https://homekit.blog/2019/12/24/create-an-on-off-toggle-switch-with-home-and-shortcuts/)) has a visibly longer delay than before. I use Aqara wall switches and when I press them, you can always count 2 seconds until the lights come on / off. We did the following test: we removed the shortcut logic of the toggle switch from the Aqara toggle button and just set a simple logic to turn on the light when pressed. With that, it's much, much faster, almost instantly. This proves that there is no problem with the switch, hub or Aqara network. Aqara motion sensors also work almost instantly. It must be the logic of the quick switch. With that simple logic, it was close to what it was before audioOS 15, I think the fast switching switch always took a little longer than the simple logic to turn the light on or off, because the shortcut has to check the light status with the IF clause and then process with the shortcut. But with the upgrade to audioOS 15, this process is painfully slow. Does anyone else face this?
