For some unknown reason, my TV does not have a CEC to turn off the TV, but to turn it on. This means I had to buy a smart socket and create a weird shortcut to turn off the TV with Siri. Only now did I realize that when I try to use the shortcut on my new Siri remote ("turn off the TV (Apple)"), Siri will execute its native command and turn off the ATV itself - leaving the TV on and standby, replacing my shortcut that shuts off the power (and then turns it on again) This shortcut works fine on my phone / HomePod, but won't register on the ATV There's a way I can manually replace the native Apple TV? Or rather, a way to manually add the CEC function off to the TV? I realize that all my problems would be solved with a new TV, but let's not go there yet.
