Siri on iPhone perfectly controls the smart home; HomePod Siri "some devices did not respond"

Cupertino, October 13, 2023

I've been having a constant problem for the past few weeks where when I call Siri to turn the lights on/off, I get a different reaction. When I try to use Siri on my iPhone, it works perfectly every time. However, on all my HomePods, 8/10 times I'll get the "some devices didn't respond" response - even though I know it's responding when I try it immediately via IPhone Siri afterwards? Does anyone know how to fix this?
