"Siri, turn on the light" - Turn on the lights and lamps

Cupertino, February 14, 2024

Hi all, maybe this is my syntax problem or something. I have a reading lamp in the same room as the pendant lights. Both are in HomeKit (via Homebridge). When I say "Siri, turn on the light" I only want the overhead light to turn on, and when I say "Siri, turn on the lamp" I want the lamp to turn on. Instead, when I say "turn on the light", it currently turns on both. Is there a way around this? In homekit both lights are in the same room (bedroom). The lamp is called a "reading lamp" and the light is called a "bedroom". Any idea how to fix this. I could just put the lamp in its own "room", but somehow without Home looking messy? Thanks
