Our house is set up with my roommate's Home Pod, but I was added to the house and activated everything that should allow Siri to recognize me, find my devices, set reminders, etc. but it never works.
I searched this subhomekit.blog and other forums and tried the suggested fixes to no avail.
Siri on the Home Pod also doesn't recognize that my new lamp is in my bedroom (for example, it won't turn it on if I ask it to turn on all the lights in my room), although Siri on my devices thinks the bright side of the bedroom my.
I installed the light while my roommate was gone, wondering if both issues are fundamentally related. I have an XS Max that is updated to the latest operating system, and the home bridge is also completely updated. (Roomie also has XS Max in case that matters).
