It seems that people have all sorts of problems answering HomeKit. My experience and how I think it has been resolved, for now. I started with a single Homepod mini, it worked great. My problems started with the second Homepod mini and I added it as a Stereo pair to my original from the beginning. It seems that once I added it, things took a little longer to refresh in the ios Home app, especially the Thread accessories. Investigations led me to these units with the same host name in my network, which was Homepod. I broke the Stereo pair, renamed each unit, and then paired it again. My problems are now SOLVED, for now ...
