I currently have a Chamberlain garage door opener and use the MyQ app and video keyboard for the external keyboard. I don't really need a video camera there, but the keypad allows me to restrict access and assign certain codes; for example, my cleaning staff has a code that only allows them to come in at certain times on certain days. I'm also getting a little more concerned that someone will break into my car at night and activate the garage door from HomeLink (park in driveway), which makes me want to disable HomeLink and use a CarPlay / HomeKit app. I read the threads on Meross, Tailwind, iSmartgate and they all seem to have great features. I'll probably go with Meross since more people have positive experiences than not. My question though is what external keyboards will allow me to restrict access like I did? Or does the Meross app have some kind of functionality? I previously used a chamberlain wireless keyboard, but it only allowed a guest passcode, didn't restrict days/times, and also expired. Has anyone had any luck finding a solution? Thanks!
