Smart lightning

Cupertino, February 23, 2020

Guys, in light of HomeKit's smart flash, there are two ways to do this, right? I can use a smart switch to control the "move" lamp or I can use a directly smart lamp to turn on / off. But my doubt is that if I have a smart bulb (such as Xiaomi or Koogeek, whatever) to turn on / off via iPhone, the mute switch must always be on the right? Because if you turn off the switch, the lamp energy will be switched off and I can't control the lamp properly?

So, the final question is: if I have a smart lamp, do I always have to turn the switch on and only control the lamp by homekit devices? Can this be solved with a smart "combo" switch and smart bulb?
