Quick update on SmartWings shades after a year. They are not great. Periodically I put them offline. I do the dance by unplugging Apple TVs, HomePods, Routers, etc. Sometimes they come back online. Sometimes I have to remove them from HomeKit and add them back. My windows are 16 feet up, which means going out on a tall ladder to reset the shades and add them back to HomeKit. I'm not great with heights, so my wife or daughter climbs the ladder. They like that. /s Solar doesn't do much to keep them charged. I connect them every 4-5 months to fill them up. Again, wife and daughter love the ladder. /s I'm seriously considering ripping them out and going with Lutron, even though I'm sure I can't get my money back. My local dealer quoted me $19,000. You have My Lutron switches are the most amazing piece of technology I own, so I'm sure that would be a win, but far from money.
