So here's a fun one to help me solve

Cupertino, May 13, 2021

I would like to be notified if a scene is activated in my house. I'm building a HomeKit alarm system. Currently, the front door and window sensors are both set to run my "alert" scene if they are triggered at night. So the front door opens at 12 in the morning, for example, and the scene is triggered. The scene is an alarm sound on the HomePod mini and 3 of my lights are flashing red. Now I don't have to activate the notifications for the window or the front door, because I just want to be informed if my "alert" scene is activated. Are you following me so far? Lol, I set up the pushcut to send me a shortcut notification, but I'm stuck on how to get the scene to trigger the shortcut. If you understood something of what I'm trying to explain, please help, I've tried this for 3 hours so far and nothing. I want a notification if the scene lights up. Edit / update: another hour and I think I have something ... I went to add automation, I touched when the movement detects, converts to shortcut, I left the first part blank, I added URL and get the content from URL ( To operate the quick press), then save and save the automation. I came back and did a "test" and it worked. (This is just a test before the actual automation) Now here's the problem, my problem, I can't actually set it up and test it and then do it live until my roommate goes to work in the morning. He is currently asleep and I'm sure the mermaid would wake him. But until tomorrow, if anyone has a better solution to my problem, please let us know. I'll update tomorrow.
