Sonoff minir4m Wifi smart switch

Cupertino, January 7, 2024

I bought the Sonoff minir4m wifi smart switch and after installing and configuring it with the Apple Home app, it kept having problems. It works perfectly from its dedicated app, but not through the Home app. I found out later that the wifi frequency could be the cause of this, my router unifies the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. But here's the thing, I have 2 more devices that work perfectly but they are not Sonoff, they are Meross. Is it possible that the Meross devices use the 2.4GHz frequency intelligently and the Sonoff devices don't? Anyway, I bought the same smart switch but from Meross and plan to replace them.
