Sony X950H can change the brightness with the HomePod control

Cupertino, May 27, 2021

I shouted random things at Siri today via a HomePod mini and discovered that the Sony x950h 4K TV can have brightness controlled by Siri controls. "Hey Siri, set the brightness of the bedroom TV to maximum (or a certain number out of 100) and it will change. Unfortunately, I still haven't figured out how to do this with a shortcut, because shortcuts seem to be able to switch / disable or switch inputs only. You can query the brightness level with shortcuts, but you can't change it. Anyone realizes anything else you can do with a HomeKit compatible TV. It's a very poorly documented category (just as much with HomeKit and Shortcuts).
