Moving to a new home soon and I’m curious if people have outstanding experiences or comparable to the type of Home Hub used for HomeKit. I only have a few (very) old Wemo switches for the lights on the ground floor, but I’ll buy the Logitech Circle View ringtone and probably a combination of Eve and Lutron devices in the new house. Current Home Hub is a fourth generation Apple TV HD. Would I see visible speed / response improvements if I bought a HomePod Mini or a sixth-generation Apple TV 4K? How much does the Home Hub processor involve at HomeKit’s global speed? My Wemo switches will sometimes go unanswered and / or overturn after a delay, but I’ve always assumed it’s because they’re old (which may be true). If anyone has other recommendations for HomeKit devices, it’s all me. We currently have a predominantly Google Home configuration, but the only thing that will make the transition is probably the Google Home Hub.
