Buy a new home (UK) that will come with Google Nest Learning thermostats installed.
From a lot of research, I've decided there are 2 ways to go here.
Stay with Google Nest products. Get outdoor camera, doorbell, smoke alarm, etc. Simply get a Starling hub and get the job done.
All of the above and stick to Google Home (I prefer HomeKit so not ideal).
Get standalone products like Abode, Aqara, Eufy etc.
From my research, there are mixed opinions on standalone products/brands, so I'm leaning towards the Nest/Starling products.
Does anyone have an opinion? Thanks.
