Starting my smart home with homekit - questions

Cupertino, July 8, 2021

Hello, I'm moving in a few weeks and I'm thinking of starting a smart home. I want to start by getting smart light bulbs. After a bit of research, I came to the conclusion that nanoleaf essentials are the best solution for me (low cost, wire support - so no deck is needed). Here's the deal now, there are a few scenarios where I'd rather use a switch or motion sensor to trigger a light. I really want to avoid buying extra hubs from one of the vendors. What switches / motion sensors can you recommend?
