I don't like the idea of having all wireless sensors on my doors and windows - just feels like a hell of a battery replacement. I also have existing wired sensors from an old alarm system. I was wondering if anyone had come across a device that enabled you to connect these sensors and then display them as separate devices in HomeKit?
If DIY in me was stronger, I guess there is some arduino / raspberry Pi hack that could be done. I was hoping there might be something off the shelf. Open to use homebridge if there is nothing directly available for HomeKit - I haven't found one yet.
Suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
