I just got my first HomePod mini and set up my first automation to include the speakerphone. I am the full-time caregiver of my elderly parents: my mother, who suffers from dementia, and my father, who is at home in medical care due to 2 forms of cancer. My father is bedridden, but my mother can get lost at night and pose a risk to her own safety. We are in a 2-room apartment with a living room between the bedrooms. Since my mom tried to walk out the front door one night, I have a room set up in the living room, but the notifications in the app on my 12 pM iPhone aren't loud enough to wake me up in the middle of the night. So, I received a HomeKit compatible door sensor for the front door on which I intend to set up an automation that will set off an alarm on my HPM and make my smart light flash red, which I hope will be enough to I wake up if my mother tries to go out the door again overnight. I can lock the latch, but she opened it last time. I cannot stop the key entry screw in both directions due to the risk of fire. I don't want to arrest her at home - I just want to know if she opens the door so I can keep an eye on her and take care of her. I said all this to say that although I think this method will work, our family also has a sense of humor. I'm looking for suggestions on which audio track I should use as an alarm for HPM. I currently have an annoyance from the Alarms: Sound Effects album on Apple Music, but I'm open to any music or other sound effects you think will wake me up from the stump, but it also keeps the mood light and funny, from the moment I watch both of them it causes enough stress as it is. I'm sorry for the long explanation, but thank you to any of you who would like to give me your suggestions - I'm looking forward to it. :)
