Switching recommendation

Cupertino, March 28, 2021

First of all, let me just say: Yes, I know the Box is the gold standard and it's probably worth the money. That being said ... I just installed a Kasa switch (connected via Homebridge) and am really happy so far with its look and functionality. The two big problems I have are: 1 - There is no support for native HomeKit (spirit) 2 - WiFi vs zig bee or zwave, etc. I'm really itchy to start adding more wired switches and move away from the Hue-based configuration I currently have (especially for non-switched lamps). I've had Wemo equipment in the past, but got rid of it, calculating that the Hue passing through the bridge was less strained by my WiFi (which runs a separate 2.4 ghz IoT network, but still). I like the look of their switches and accept HomeKit natively. Talk to me in the Box, because I know it's the best, I can't get over how awful I feel the switches look ...
