I have two sonos (IKEA SYMFONISKS) one in my living room and one in the bathroom. I use the Yonomi app to automate radio playback based on location and time of day (when I get home or leave it based on time of day). This works flawlessly using my Apple TV as a bridge, but I would like to improve my bathroom to play only when someone is actually in the bathroom. I thought of using a motion sensor to activate the sonos in the bathroom to play the same as in the living room and if nothing is played in the living room to start playing something (and add time restrictions ). Anyone have a recommendation on how I can do this? In addition to the 2 sonos, I have an IKEA TRÅDFRI bridge thanks to the two volume buttons (living room and bathroom), and all my devices are Apple. SYMFONISKS Sonos is compatible with Airplay. I live in Germany, so I also have some restrictions on the devices / brands for movement that I can buy. I thought I’d get the EVE motion sensor because it’s HomeKit compatible and doesn’t require an extra deck. Any suggestions?
