BARCELONA's home set for the 2020-21 season has aired online - and fans really like it.

The new Nike band is inspired by the conquering shirt of the Catalan team Pep Pepi Guardiola, destined for their LaLiga and Champions League double ten years ago.

The US sportswear giants have already had success with upcoming kit launches, after having released their templates for next season.

Custom efforts for Korea and the United States were both well received, while Nigeria's new band took the world by storm.

In the meantime, Barcelona has abandoned its unpopular board-inspired design in Croatia after only one season.

Quique Setien's side were upset because he was throwing the club's famous vertical stripes for their current look.

But now they have brought the fans back with their ode to two of the most successful periods in the rich history of Barcelona.

In addition to the inspiration from 2010/11, the kit is also a nod to the 1920s era that dominated the LaLiga predecessor, the Catalunya Championship.

The 2020-21 set has thin gold stripes embroidered between traditional red and blue stripes that are vertically dark blue on both the front and back.

And the fans were delighted with the new design, with only one tweeting: "That the boat coat is beautiful, in honor of the Champions."

Another said: "The only thing about the Boat that I'm excited about right now."

A third added: "It will be an incredible home kit."

Meanwhile, Chelsea may end up looking exactly like Crystal Palace, if their third set for the 2020-2021 season is accurate.

The blue is ready to have a new sponsor with "3" confirmed to be on the front of the red and blue striped shirt.

The design with faded blue stripes was not well received with a Twitter user who said: "It's horrible.
