My parents asked for a security system for Christmas. They both have iPhones and have a macbook, but they're not very tech savvy. I wanted to keep things as simple as possible for them, so I thought it would be nice to bring them a video doorbell and a camera so they can manage everything in one app, but I'm discouraged from looking at all the reviews and how the home kit keeps losing connection. Is there a doorbell/camera that is more reliable than others? The logitech doorbell/camera on the Apple site doesn't have the best reviews. I don't need anything fancy, just something that stays connected for them so they don't have to work it out. The alternative would be to use different brands (google/amazon) but then they would have to use different apps which I would like to avoid. Thanks
