After dressing your home with smart lighting, it's hard to go back. "Hey Siri, turn off the living room lights" is a daily feature in my house. You can make the lights turn on automatically when you return home or at a time when you are away. You can usually control the brightness and sometimes the color. After you get used to the smart lights, the old switches and variators feel positively old.

However, there are many types of intelligent lights. Different networks, applications and ecosystems used to control them. Some smart lighting solutions are only compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant, which will work with the appropriate iPhone applications, but will not be as integrated as you want. To make smart lighting seamlessly integrate into your Home or Siri application, you really want HomeKit compatible lights. If you want a smart white light bulb that does not require a smart home hub, the LIFX Mini White is a great choice. Although slightly smaller than the full-size LIFX bulb, it produces an equivalent of 60 watts of 800 lumens - as are many competitors.
