from smart bells to outdoor rooms and models with facial recognition, there are a lot of home security room options there. Home security cameras keep you safe when you're at home, taking care of your valuables, or simply monitoring a rogue pet.
They range in price from $ 20 to several hundred dollars and offer a variety of features and specifications. I have listed below three of my favorite models to help guide your decision if you are looking for a new home security camera.

Let's start with the price: Wyze Cam only costs $ 20. In a sea of expensive security cameras, Wyze Cam delivers criminal value. Pair it with its simple application, easy installation and solid performance - and you have an excellent interior security camera.
What sets it apart even more is its free two-week cloud storage and built-in microSD card slot for local storage. You need to buy a separate microSD card, but this is standard for most rooms with local storage. It supports Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands and has a motion detection area feature.

The $ 200 Smart Netatmo Indoor Camera, formerly called Netatmo Welcome, is one of the few interior security cameras that work with HomeKit Secure Video. HomeKit Secure Video is a service that works only with the Home app only for iOS. It offers 10 days of free event-based video history, stored in iCloud.
Few security camera companies offer free cloud storage (ahem, Arlo) - and even fewer offer 10 full days of free cloud storage. Wyze is an exception with the two weeks of free storage, which is why it is my current favorite cam.
Netatmo's smart indoor camera has 1080p HD live streaming, a 130-degree field of view, night vision and local storage, with microSD card included. It also has facial recognition capabilities when you create a database of friends and family members. In addition to working with HomeKit, the smart indoor camera also supports Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands.

At $ 299, Nest Cam IQ Interior is definitely expensive. But it also happens to have a lot of high quality features with lots of appeal. First of all, it has 1080p HD live streaming, free alerts and 4K image sensor. This 4K image sensor enables a feature called "Supersight" that zooms in on a person and follows them into the field of view of the camera.
If you pay for Nest Aware, which starts at $ 5 per month, you will have access to the face recognition feature. With face recognition, you can create a database of friends and family in the app and then receive custom alerts when the camera recognizes "Dave" or "Molly".
Nest Cam IQ Indoor also has a built-in Google Assistant speaker for general or smart voice commands.
