I have an older Ipad (2017) updated to the latest iPadOS 14.0.1 that I want to reuse to control Sonos and Homekit.
I previously used an older iPad 3 for this (or at least just a Sonos controller), but I just got a new iPad Pro to replace my 2017, so I can withdraw it to remote functions and withdraw iPad3.
I want to control both Sonos and Homekit, if possible. The iPad will stand in a stand in portrait orientation.
I'm not sure how much I can customize my iPad. The new widget function looks nice, but I don't think they are interactive.
I know some people with wall mounted tablets use split screen and guided access, but most people use landscape to maximize screen real estate, and I also want to know if I can auto-resize and start automatically without having to unlock it. . I'm not sure if that's possible.
Maybe a third-party homekti app that supports Sonos control?
Does anyone have any ideas?
