My children are old enough that my wife and I are thinking of leaving them at home for an hour or two while we go out. My friends use their Amazon echo to make and receive calls with children when they are out. I hope I can find a way to do this using only Apple devices. My kids don't have their own devices (phones or tablets), but I wish I could contact them if we go out and let them have a way to call us. But I don't want an Echo, so does anyone know if it's possible to use HomePod or HomePod mini?
